Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Residential Security Tasks (RST) Officer to join our team. The RST Officer will be responsible for implementing and managing security measures for residential properties, ensuring the safety and security of residents and their property. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in residential security, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to safeguarding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Security Management: Implement and oversee security measures for residential properties, including access control, surveillance, and alarm systems.
  • Patrol and Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols of the property to monitor and ensure security, responding promptly to any suspicious activity or breaches.
  • Emergency Response: Act as the first responder to security incidents or emergencies, including intrusions, alarms, or safety concerns. Provide appropriate response and coordinate with local law enforcement if necessary.
  • Access Control: Manage and monitor access to the property, including verifying identities of visitors and ensuring that security protocols are followed.
  • Reporting: Maintain detailed records of security incidents, observations, and actions taken. Prepare and submit regular security reports to management.
  • Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with residents, addressing their security concerns and providing updates on security measures and incidents.
  • Maintenance: Ensure that security equipment and systems are regularly maintained and functioning correctly. Report any malfunctions or needed repairs to management.
  • Training and Development: Stay updated on the latest security practices and technologies through continuous training and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience in residential security, security management, or a related field. Previous experience with residential security tasks and systems is highly desirable.
  • Education: Relevant education or training in security management, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
  • Certifications: Valid security certifications, such as SIA License or equivalent, are required. Additional certifications related to security systems and emergency response are advantageous.
  • Legal Requirements: Must be eligible to work in the UK and have a clean criminal record.

  • Discretion: High level of discretion and integrity in handling confidential information and sensitive situations.
