Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Close Protection Officer (CPO) to provide comprehensive security and protection services for high-profile individuals and clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in close protection, exceptional situational awareness, and the ability to respond effectively to potential threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Personal Protection: Provide around-the-clock security and protection for clients, ensuring their safety at home, during travel, and at public events.
- Threat Assessment: Conduct detailed threat assessments and risk analysis to identify potential security risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Advance Planning: Plan and coordinate security measures for client movements, including site assessments, route planning, and liaising with local authorities and other security personnel.
- Physical Security: Implement and oversee physical security measures, including secure transportation and protective tactics.
- Emergency Response: Respond effectively to emergencies or incidents, including medical emergencies, security breaches, and evacuation scenarios.
- Confidentiality: Maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality, ensuring that client information and security details are protected.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other security personnel, law enforcement agencies, and relevant stakeholders to ensure comprehensive protection and coordination.
- Training: Continuously update and enhance skills through ongoing training and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Professional Certifications: Hold a valid Close Protection license and relevant certifications (e.g., SIA Close Protection License).
- Experience: Proven experience in a close protection role, preferably with experience in high-risk environments or protecting high-profile individuals.
- Education: Relevant education or training in security management, law enforcement, or related fields is advantageous.
- Legal Requirements: Must be eligible to work in the UK and have a clean criminal record.
